WHAT TOURS OR EXPERIENCES ARE AVAILABLE?

There are two tours you can do, each with different themes. If you’re a cocktail enthusiast and want to develop your skills, The Flavours Workshop is for you.

If blending whiskies is your thing, you can discover the secrets of the art of blending and enjoy an ‘Old Fashioned Master Class’ in Room 106.

HOW LONG IS THE ‘FLAVOURS WORKSHOP’?

The Cocktail Workshop Experience lasts for 40 minutes. We’ll also reserve a table for you in the Power House Bar for a further 45 minutes after your experience

HOW LONG IS THE ‘106 OLD FASHIONED MASTER CLASS’?

The 106 Blending Experience lasts for 40 minutes. We’ll also reserve a table for you in the Power House Bar for a further 45 minutes after your experience.

CAN I GO INTO THE DISTILLERY?

Yes, of course. On our tours you’ll enjoy a fully immersive walkthrough of our state-of-the-art Still House. There, you’ll see our working distillery – for your safety and accessibility this is from a raised walkway.

CAN I BUY WHISKEY AT THE DISTILLERY?

There’s no better place to buy Roe & Co whiskey than here in our flagship Roe & Co store. You’ll find blended whiskey and exclusive rotational distillery offerings. You can also enjoy drawing directly from the cask for an exclusive bottling, which you can then personalise – an ideal gift.

Are dogs allowed?

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, however we are not able to accommodate pets.

What are the non-alcoholic options available?

We have a range of delicious non-alcoholic mixed drinks and beers for you to enjoy.

Can you just book for drinks?

In the Power House bar, you can enjoy our extensive cocktail menu and book in for just drinks.

Do you take walk-ins?

Demand is high for visits so we strongly recommend booking in advance. That said, we’ll always try to accommodate walk-in visitors when possible.

On Foot:

Start point: Dublin city centre

(Journey time 20 mins)

  1. Head west on College Green towards Grafton Street.
  2. Follow the road until you pass Christ Church Cathedral on your right.
  3. Continue onto Thomas Street and find us on the right hand side of the street at 92 James’s Street, Dublin 8.

By Bus:

Start point: Dublin city centre

  1. Bus 123 from O'Connell Street
  2. Bus 123 from Dame Street

By Luas (Tram):

The nearest tram/Luas stop is at St James's Hospital.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO VISIT THE DISTILLERY?

Yes. Since we’re a working distillery and an alcohol experience the minimum age requirement for visitors is 18 years old.

WILL I HAVE TO SHOW ID TO PROVE MY AGE?

Yes. A valid government photo ID is required.

CAN CHILDREN COME ON THE TOUR?

Because this is a working distillery and an alcohol attraction, children are not permitted.

DOES THE ROE & CO DISTILLERY OFFER A CONCESSION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?

We don't offer concessions for visitors with disabilities, but we do offer complimentary entry for a care assistant who is visiting with you. This is limited to one person only. Please email hello@roeandcowhiskey.com with your reference number and we will add your care assistant to your ticket, free of charge.

DO YOU OFFER ANY ADAPTED TOURS FOR CUSTOMERS WITH AUTISM OR OTHER SENSORY SENSITIVITIES?

Roe & Co Distillery is proud to be be an official AsIAm Autism Friendly Accredited visitor experience with the help of Ireland’s National Autism Charity, AsIAm. Our staff have been trained how to best cater to customers with autism or other neurodivergencies, and we offer sensory kits including ear plugs at our reception area, along with Sensory Maps and a visual guide to the building.

We also offer both the Flavours and Blending Experiences as Sensory Friendly once a month. On the first Wednesday of every month, our first two experiences will be adapted with reduced noise and lighting, and sensory triggers marked. You can book this on our regular ticket selection page, by choosing the first Flavours or Blending experience on the first Wednesday of any month.

POWER HOUSE BAR

IS A VISIT TO THE BAR INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

Both the Flavours Workshop and 106 Blending Experience conclude with a complimentary Roe & Co cocktail in the show-stopping Power House Bar, designed by Drinksology - the creative minds behind some of the World’s 50 Best Bars.

DO I HAVE TO BUY A DISTILLERY TOUR OR TASTING TO ACCESS THE BAR?

No, you can visit our Power House Bar without a ticket to a tour or experience.

CAN I GET REFRESHMENTS IN THE BAR?

Yes. We offer soft drinks and high-end non-alcoholic cocktails. Our bar staff will be on hand to guide you through the selection on offer.

HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?

Simply booking online in advance as spaces are limited. Spaces are limited and we wouldn’t want you miss out on our world-class whiskey experience, so be sure to book.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY TICKET?

WILL YOU SEND ME A RECEIPT?

Yes. You will receive a receipt by email upon confirmation of your booking.

Can you buy gift vouchers?

Not yet, but we’re working on it.

Where do you deliver/ship to?

Currently, we only deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland.

ACCESS AND PARKING

IS THE BUILDING WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes. The building is wheelchair accessible. We provide a limited number of disabled parking spaces on site which are available on a first come first served basis.

Free parking is a short walk away on Crane Street and limited street parking is also available.
